"Hair by Mai"  ~  Mai has owned Hair Above All for 25+ years. She enjoys giving clients a relaxing atmosphere where they can feel right at home and not intimidated by their stylist or their surroundings. Mai knows how important the stylist-client rapport is. Her technique as a Master Barber/Master Stylist combined with personally inspired styles create a customized look for every client.  Over the years, she has built an extensive and varied clientele, one relationship at a time thanks to the referrals sent her way by her amazing clients.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  Mai has experienced education in Redken, Keune, Logics, Paul Mitchell, Sebastian, Framesi and Schwarzkopf. While working with Keune & Schwarzkopf Organic Line of color are her favorites,  she analyzes each clients needs and chooses the right product for their color needs.  Working with coloring mens hair is an additional challenge she loves.  Keeping their color natural is a must in todays work industry.  Halocouture Extensions are her newest addition ~ WOW is the best word to describe this service!  Hands on training in Chicago, Atlanta & Nashville have also enhanced her skills in the industry.

Being a native of Franklin, Mai loves the growth the area has experienced and welcomes all newcomers!  She is the mother of two sons and a beautiful daughter-in-law & has a grandson who is indeed very grand!!  Hobbies include reading, binge watching on Netflix with her special guy, traveling to the beach,  enjoying her fur babies, walking & living life to it's fullest!!
